Hi all....

Wanted to let you know of the updates to the website for today. There were additions to the "H", "S", and "W" surname pages of the World War I Draft Registration Card project. To date, over 2,000 card transcriptions have been placed online for viewing. With less than 1,800 cards left to transcribe, it means that 2/3rd's of the cards for Breckinridge County have been viewed and typed up.

I called the Archives in Hardinsburg and have several things coming my way regarding cemeteries. I've asked for all information regarding the Johnson/Gosnell Farm Cemetery, Murray Cemetery, all Owens Cemeteries, and the Matthews Cemetery. Mrs. Schafer relayed that just within the past couple of years work had been done on clearing out the Matthews Cem. and she had some Xerox copies of the original pictures she could send. I was estatic and asked her to please send them on, as you all would like to see them. I also found my listing (latest marker date is 12/1996) of the Freedom Cumberland Presb. Church Cem. With finding it, hopefully I can get it typed up quickly and online within the next couple of days.
