Subject: [KYBRECKI] Upcoming additions/updates to the Breck. Co. USGWKyArchive site

Hey all.....
Wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about the site the past week. I've got more transcriptions for the "H" and "W" surnames that are ready to be uploaded to the site, I just haven't had the chance yet to do it. I wanted to let you all know what's going on, as I think you all will understand why it'll be this weekend before they come online.
My father's genealogy is completely in Anderson, Mercer, Franklin, and Shelby counties (all of my mothers lines are Breck. Co. lines). Growing up, and even now, I never knew much about his side of the family for various reasons I won't go into. As a result, for 8 years I've been stuck on my g-grandparents and unable to get past them. With the last name of Brown and in a county where the surname Brown is as prevalant as the Board, Meador, Dowell, AND Jolly names are in Breck. Co. .... it was hard sorting them all out even WITH a roadmap and some help... something I didn't have. With my father dying 21 years ago, any real chance of knowing anything went with him as well.
This past weekend I finally got a break in my dad's lines and now can take them back to my 3rd g-grandparents. I even got to see a picture of my 3rd g-grandfather's gravestone. To same I'm excited about all of this goes beyond explanation and understanding at times. Yet, I felt torn because I had some cards that needed to go on the site for you all that would help as much with your all's researching as what this one breakthrough as done for my dad's lines. I'm one that believes your commitments are to be fulfilled no matter what. Granted, I don't owe any explanations... but you guys are family in a genealogical sense and I wanted to explain the hold up.
I should have them all uploaded and on the site by Friday night, Saturday at the latest. I was just afraid that after waiting 8 years for a break in a line I had virtually nothing on, if I didn't strike while the iron was hot... I would lose out. I knew if I explained what was going on... you guys would totally understand and be supportive.
With all that said... you guys have a great one, and be watching over the weekend for the updates!
Happy Hunting!
