There is a remote chance that I might get to Breckenridge County just after
the 4th of July. My hope is to get to the McCamish Cemetery near Custer and
photograph at least some of the headstones. Thanks to Dana and the web
site, I have some maps, but I need some other help:
1. Best way to drive close to the cemetery.
2. Permission to walk across private property to the cemetery - and the
path to take (there may not be a real path). Whom do I contact?
3. I know there has been controversy about the best ways to enhance the
markings for photography. Does anyone know the correct way? Obviously, I
don't want to hurt the markings or stones.
Any other ideas about what we need?
If I get photos, I will submit them to Dana for the web site.
This will be an all day trek for us to get there and back and spend any time
at the cemetery, so there probably won't be time to do much else, but
Duncan's Valley was where they lived and I'd like to see that area.
Thanks in advance,
Doug
