Subject: [KYBRECKI] Cemeteries almost finished
Date: Mon, 2 Jul 2007 08:14:07 -0400
Hi there Karen....
I was working hard all weekend on the cemeteries in general and think everything's set to send but 2 cemeteries. I wanted to make sure my stuff here correlated with what I was sending you, and I found where some that I'd thought I'd printed off hadn't been..... and some I thought hadnt' been really had been printed off.
I'll have the updated Garfield, Hensley-Dowell, Locust Hill and Old Ivy Hill cemeteries within the packet of all the smaller ones that have been done. I still have Big Spring UMC and Custer to send to you. I honestly thought I had Big Spring UMC done, but I guess I didn't. I also need to check my copy of High Plains against the updated one that Fay and Ernie sent to make sure everything matches up. And, well, Custer..... that's another story. It's going to take a little time. I think on the transcription from the late 70's it said "630" under known burials. We both know there's been a lot more.... but I'm going to signify on the records that it's only a partial updating with more to come.
I also, if I don't forget, will be sending CD's of the images AND transcriptions of the WWI Draft Registration Cards. While we transcribed them alphabetically, there are some letters I have to go save the images for as Peggy and a couple of others went straight off their subscriptions to obtain the images... rather than me save them to my hard drive and email them/snail mail them the whole letter of surnames. So while you might get the majority (ie. A,B, D, F, G, I.... etc.), you'll still be needing some (ie. C, E, H... etc.)
Well... need to get moving so I can get to work. I'm looking at a Wednesday mail date. If something changes, I'll let you know. I wasn't anticipating being as hung up yesterday on Garfield and Custer as I was... and I'm still not done with Custer. Have a good one!
Dana
