Dimmit Allen was my GG GRANDFATHER. I have a lot of stuff on the Allen family. He is buried in Brandenburg, Kentucky. HIs son Waverly Allen was my great grandfather,and I have stories about him that are something else. He moved to Ashland Nebraska and ran a mill. Be happy to share all that I have. Never could find out where he came from, so you probably have information that I could use, also. Just finally got back to doing geanology...the more answers I get the more questions they bring up.
