I am not related but knew John D. Keys of Breckenridge Co. Ky. He was 93 when he died in 1993.
He had taken inventory of Walnut Grove Baptist Church in 1976, published into a booklett. In this he states......'My father J.W. Keys, told me that his father, A. J. Keys Sr. and Allen Adkisson were working on the frame of the chuch when the first burial there in 1854'.................


My mother was a HEAD and some of the Heads are buried there. W. Norris Head 1861-1935, married a Ruth Adkisson in 1884. I would like to know her line but have nothing.
