Hi all....

I've been quiet for a reason this weekend. I've been working on a suggestion given by someone on the mailing list. When it was suggested to link up the cemetery listings with the obits/death notices, at first I was hesitant as it was going to be quite an undertaking. But it's taken two days and I've gotten halfway through the obits that have been submitted to the site, and tacked them on to their listing on the cemetery pages. As a result, there are a lot of updates and additions to the Tombstone Photograph Transcription page. It also means that "no one will be forgotten" if they had a mention in a newspaper of being buried in a cemetery but have no marker. There will still be a percentage that won't be accounted for due to no marker and no mention in the paper, but that gap has closed up a bit more and should help in research.

I know I missed some that I updated, but my brain is completely fried. I'm only halfway through the obits, so there is still more to add on. If you aren't sure, I can guarantee each index page has new additions/updates. Just look for the "9-9-2007" date and that will tell you whether it was updated or not.

I also was able to get more obits for individuals buried at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. There was also updates to the "H", "M", and "N" pages in the WWII Draft Registration Card project.
