I found your Raymond W. Meador on Ancestry.com's Kentucky Death Records Index, 1852 to 1953. He was listed in Ancestry's Index under Raymond W. Mead, but on his death certificate his name is clearly written, Raymond W. Meador. He died in the Custer Voting Precinct. He was born 14 Feb 1880 and died 18 Apr 1932. Son of John W. Meador who was born in Custer, Breckinridge County, Ky, and Betty Wales who was born in Garfield, Breckinridge County, Ky. Raymond died at age 52 years, 2 months, 4 days old. Cause of death was Cerebral Hemorrhage and the Contributory Cause was Plurisy. His occupation was listed as Prac. (Practicing) Physician. His wife was also named on the certificate as Perlesa Meador. Raymond died in the Irvington Voting Precinct, and was buried at Irvington, Ky on 20 Apr 1932. Informant was V. W. Harned of Custer, Ky.
I got out my 2 volumes of Breckinridge County Cemetery Books. I found your Raymond Meador in Volume 1 with a tombstone, and listed under R. W. Meador 1881 - 1932, and buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington in Breckinridge County, Ky. Then in Volume 2, I found your Purlesy A. Meador 1895 - 1992 also buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington with a tombstone.
I checked my 1992 Breckinridge County Herald-News obituaries I saved out of the paper, but your Purlesy Allen Meador's obituary was not in that paper. I also checked Ky Deaths Index, and she did not die in Ky. Social Security Death Index was no help either, because it did not list her last known residence or where they sent her last benefit. Her Social Security Card was issued in Ky, though. She was born 10 July 1895 and died 15 Jan 1992.
