Judi, I descend from the CHASTAIN, BONDURANT and AYRES families you have listed. Did any of yours come through Bath County, Kentucky? My maiden name is CHASTAIN. I'd be interested in your AYRES line as I've hit a brickwall on my Elizabeth Benecia AYRES who married Martin CHASTAIN 07 Feb 1793 in Buckingham County, VA

Hi, Janice. I do have Martin Chastain and Elizabeth Benecia Ayres in my tree, but I don't have any other information about Elizabeth, either. I'm sorry. They're sort of a side branch for me--an Ayres married Vincent Reid Brooks, Jr., the youngest brother of my ggg-grandmother, Sidna Brooks Agee. Good luck with Elizabeth!
