A Ramsey Cousin from either South Carolina or Georgia was very helpful in collecting a list of marriages of 'these' Ramseys' from Person, Granville, and Caswell Counties. They were on Index Cards and he made a listing of all of them. The one on Hensley is listed as 'Hensly Ramsey and no name Anna Pettypool, it was just blank. The wedding date I presume by the listing is June 24, 1819 with Abednego Francis Gentry as Bondsman.
Abednego married his Sister Frances born in november of 1797. There are other bondsmen and witnesses that are as interesting as the people marrying. I'll see if I can scan these pages and e-mail them if you would like?
