I know this is an old post but in case you are still researching these people William H.Gilpin's parents were Harrison Gilpin and Lucinda Apple from Casey County, Kentucky. and Idella Adkisson's parents were George Adkisson and Mary Renner, I'm not sure where they were from. My ggg- grandmother was Lucinda Apples sister Susanna.
