I liked the answer also. But here is another:
Where would the "fun" place to go to get married be for young people of
those days??? If you lived in California, many went to Reno or Las Vegas.
For the early years of Kentucky, which town(s) in Indiana or Illinois, were
preferred for getting married?
This information might help narrow down some places to look....
