Great! I will start researching this more to see what else I can find also. 'Fleshing out' is a good term.
Additional Bruce info as follows most of which I found available online (Huge Bruce trees):
Emily Jane Bruce dau. of
William Bruce 28 Dec 1804 , Nelson, KY - 8 Mar 1883, Breck, KY (son of James Bruce & Mary/Polly Froman)
and Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann Hays 13 Feb 1804 VA - 27 May 1873 Breck, KY. ( Both are buried in Bruce Cemetery, Breck, KY. There is a will dated for Wm. 25 Aug 1876, but I don't have a copy of it. They had 9 children, one -Emily's sis- Martha M. married a George W. Burton which is our 'direct line'.
Martha & George are buried at Weatherford Cemetery, Breck. and we have been there.
Edward Francis Pile & Emily Jane Bruce (b. 1831) md. 11 Apr 1853 Breck., KY

2.William Henry 15 Feb 1855 KY - 15 May 1914 Breck, KY md. Mary/Mollie Gray b. 1861 KY - 15 May 1914 Breck, KY. He died of Measles, and she died of Shock w/contr. measles & death of her husband. I found this very sad. Again, both buried at Gray Cemetery, Custer, Breck., KY
