It looks like we are together on some....this information was given to me,
and I only checked my blood line. I would advise you to do the same, however
, I found it to be very accurate.
William Askins, ( Courtney Askins,4,...John 3, George 2, John 1) was born 29
Oct. 1809 in Brackenridge Co , Ky. and died 31 Jul 1887in Brackenridge co
Ky...He married Elizabeth Murphy abt. 1832 ...she was born abt 1812

More about William Askins
burial...Matthews/ Burch cemetery (aka...Simmons Cemetery)

Children : Courtney Jul. 19 1833...
Malinda Ann ...1835..m/ William Jackson
Cordelia S ...18 37...m/ Thomas M Matthews 13 Dec 1859 ( there is more than
one Cordelia)
John ...1839
George Jackson...1840
Washington Columbus...1842
Mary Elizabeth ...1845
Jeremiah ...1850...m/ Amanda Lloyd ( my line) 2nd Kennedy

cemeteries, and others.....also back to first page check Military records.

I also have the record of Edward Askins that married Ann Husted.....There
was two Ed Askins in Washington Co in 1800, I believe they Sr. & Jr. ... it
appears that the Brackenridge Co Ed. could be Jr....and maybe not his first
marriage.
His father might be my line, and if so, they connect to the Waters
line..Father should be born about 1760
