I've not been on this board for years. There is a mistake listing of Edward Barbee ca 1810-1870. Edward's daughter Mary 1850-1897 married Francis Ingram, Rockport, Spencer Co., IND. Mary, her sisters Mildred Barbee Hensley and Loduski Barbee Bamey are in Rockport marriage records.
They are buried in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Rockport.
Breckinridge Co. Circuit Court record page 343, April 18, 1873 lists Mary Barbee Ingram and Loduska as Edward's heirs.
Edward's "last" wife, Hester Anna Hoheimer Barbee, filed his inventory. A Deed is recorded Deed Book 27, Folio 350, 3/1871.
Has anyone had any luck with the Burkholders?
