I wasn't really making a connection between Rachel & James. I was just
observing we had another Clark connection. Actually, I'm descendant from
Rachel Clark and my wife is descendant from Bolling Clark, Rachel's
brother.

I did find 6 Clarks listed in the 1810 Census of Breckinridge county.
They are as follows:
Charles
Elias
John
Richard
Thomas W. (I have a note out to the side of this one that says "Thomas
M.")
Wilford

The 1820 Census shows the following:
Charles
Christopher
Henry A
John
John
Midrid
Richard

That is about as far as I've gotten. I just can't make any connections
to James M.

Thanks
Quinton

Quinton,
I couldn't tell from this comment if you are thinking your
James M. Clark line is related to Rachel. As far as I know, you have
two Clark lines. The only CLARK surnamed descendant (that I'm aware
of) from Christopher Clark / Penelope -- parents of Rachel -- who came
to Breckinridge Co. is my husband's Thomas Martin Clark. Thomas M. had
only two sons: William B. had only three daughters before his untimely
death in 1818 and Thomas M's younger son, Thomas R., had a
posthumous son born 1825. Good luck to you. Linda
