Hi there Bob....
It would be an honor to have you helping transcribe, sir. How we would do it, I would send you the template that Shirley Miller typed up in MSWord. You'd copy everything she typed up and place it in a blank email. Then you'd type in the answers to the questions from the individual death certificate image before emailing it to me. I'll take care of the rest from there.
Now, the images, I have every image of Breck. Co. death certificates from 1911-1953 on disks/my hard drive. Starting this Sunday, I would send 10 images to you (as well as the other transcribers receiving their own batch of 10) and you can work at your pace. Two weeks from this Sunday I'll send another batch of 10 out to everyone. Within roughly a month's time frame, we can have some of the years completely transcribed and online. So with me sending the images and the template to you, you can do all this from the comfort and ease of your home.
We're going to take it nice and easy... the two week interim period is for me to take the emails, submit the information, do up the webpage, and then link it all together. While it seems like I have the majority of the work to do, actually the "worst" of it will be on the transcriber as they have to transcribe some DC's that are really hard to read. That's why I feel so blessed to have as many working on this project as there are.
You have a great one!!

Dana
How do we do this if we are out of the area? I live in Florida and would be
honored to help on this list.
