I've tried to find Walter Wyatt Bennett b.28 Dec 1819 Ky & family in the 1850 census of Christian Co Ky, but failed. He married Mary Minerva Short (b.1829) in 1847 at Franklin, in Williamson Co Tn. Couldn't find them in Williamson Co Tn 1850 census. They had a child John T. b.1849 (shown age 11 born Ky, in the 1860 census of McLennan Co Texas). Another child, William W. Bennett was born 20 Oct 1853 in Christian Co Ky, so they were there in 1853 and maybe 1849.

I sure would appreciate a lookup of the 1850 Christian Co Ky census for this family. I suspect Walter Wyatt Bennett was grandson of Dr. Walter Bennett who died in Christian Co Ky 1821 & his wife Jane Wyatt.
