Rezin Elliott Sr. had two wives. The first wife, whose name I do not yet know, was the mother of Nancy (b. abt. 1821), Mary S. (b. abt. 1824), John J. (b, abt. 1825), Elizabeth F. (b. abt. 1829), and William Carter (b. abt. 1832). Rezin Sr.'s second wife whom he married on 29 March 1836 in Christian Co, KY, was Mary A. Hall. She was the mother of Isabella (b. abt. 1839), George L. (b. abt. 1840), Sarah (b. abt. 1842), Emily Kate (b. abt. 1843), Lowry B. (b. abt. 1845), and Rezin Jr. (b, abt. 1850). Rezin Elliott Sr. died on 18 May 1869 in Christian Co, KY; and Mary A. died 1 April 1871. You can find Rezin Sr. with his family in the 1850 and 1860 censuses for Christian County and Mary, a widow, head of household with adult children in the 1870 census for Christian County. Rezin Sr.'s will is recorded in Christian Co, KY, Will Book U, page 314.
Rezin Sr.'s daughter (by his first wife) Elizabeth F. Elliott married Drury C. Stevens on 16 September 1847 in Christian County. Drury C. Stevens was an older brother of my ancestor John E. Stevens. The Stevens family lived in Graves Co, KY, from the late 1820s on.
