I am researching the same family. I believe Levi took in a young man named
Edward Estes, who began using the surname "Hensley," when it suited him, as
an adult. On his death certificate his father as Benjamin Estes. Isham
served as a witness of the marriage of Edward and his wife Lou Vertice, in
1881 in Clay County. You will find Levi living with his son, Isham and family
in the 1880 Census. Edward is listed as servant Edward Hensley and his
relationship is "other." I do not at this time know if the Isham Hensley
Cemetery is named for the above Isham Hensley.
