Okay, I'm at wit's end, and hoping someone out there can help me. I've
got my great-aunt's diaries, letters and the Delayed Certificates of
Birth for my great-aunt and grandmother, all of which indicate that they
were in Middlesboro, Bell Co. KY bet. 1898 and 1908. Yet, the Guinn
family that I'm looking for doesn't show on the census. So, I'm trying
an end run here.

The diaries and letters refer to an "Aunt Martha Fairbush" who "was a
Guinn before she married a second time". Aunt Martha had a dau.,
Lillie. Based on the 1900 Bell Co. Census, there's a Jefferson Guinn
with a wife Martha and a daughter Lillie. Anyone recognize these folks?

There is also a reference to an "Aunt Mandy Lawson", who was a Guinn
before she married, and my g-grandfather's sister.

Are there any Fairbush or Lawson researchers out there who link up with
Guinns in Bell County or anywhere else? If so, I'd love to hear from
you.

Thanks!

Judy
