Looking for information on a John Foster, my great grandfather and
family that lived in Kentucky and moved to Westmoreland Co., PA.

John Foster - 1857 - 1925, according to census records he was born in
Kentucky. He married Adeline Dovey - 1859 - 1910, also according to
census records she was born in England. Not sure in what area of
Kentucky that they were from. Does anyone have a clue how I would go
about finding out census information from Kentucky. Is there any on the
internet? Members of the family are below.

The three older children were born in Kentucky.
Thomas - 1879
James - 1886 was married twice, first wife Lilly ?, second wife Agnes
Shrum.
Nellie - 1889 died in Westmoreland Co., Pa. was married to a John
Jenkins.

The five younger children were born in Pa.
John - 1891 - 2/24/1975 married Dorothy May Ayers Decker
Carrie - 1894 - 1932 married Frank L. Shrum, Bunt Rager.
Williiam - 1895
Anna - 1896 - 1985 married John Hall.
Hazel Dolly - 1899 married Dominick Charles Demangone

John and Adeline must have come to Pennsylvania between 1889 and 1891
because the older children were born in Kentucky and the younger ones in
Pa..

The census stated that my great grandfather’s father was born in North
Carolina and his mother in Kentucky. (Don't know their names) Found
John Foster (my greatgrandfather) and his wife on 1910 census in
Westmoreland Co., Pa. Adeline must have died between 1910 and 1920.
Found John (my greatgrandfather) the 1920 census living in Bradenville,
Westmoreland Co.,Pa. living by himself.

Sorry I never asked more questions when I was younger. If there is
any one out there that can shed some light on of these names or a clue
as how I need to proceed with research, I would
appreciate it.
