Hello everyone!

I need someone’s help! My computer crashed on me in September 1998 and I had to purchase a new one. I lost over 4,000 names and was just sick. I have been trying to rebuild what I lost and I had the hair brained idea to merge all my gedcom files. I thought that would be easier. Well, it has been a nightmare because I had 3 and 4 duplicates of the same person or same family. And to merge them sometimes didn't work because a name or initial would be different. So, it's been a very slow ordeal doing this, but I’ve tried going thru each name. Well, I have over 46,000 names and it has been a monumental task to say the least. I didn't spend this much time on my job. I am still attempting to get this mess straightened out!!!!! To make a long story short, there are some problems with my family groups, especially my Blanton’s. It's so difficult to find your own mistakes. Sometimes others can see them clearer. I am almost begging anyone out there who is quite familiar and very certain t!
heir Blanton line is correct to please contact me so I can send them my genealogy report and try to get my Blanton mess straightened out. I start with

John Blanton b 1620

Thomas Blanton b1646-1697 married Jane McGuffey b 1654-1698
