My ggrandfather was George W. EDDS. He was the son of Houston (Huston?)
EDDS and Mary LEE EDDS. I think he may be the brother of your David H.
EDDS.

George W. EDDS was b. in Rose Hill, VA 12-08-1860. He died in Dallas, TX
in 1939. His obit. mentions that he has the following brothers/sisters:

Dave EDDS was living in Wallen, KY in 1939
James EDDS was living in Wallen, KY in 1939
Todd EDDS was living in Rose Hill, VA in 1939
Harve EDDS was living in Rose Hill, VA in 1939
Martha EDDS was living in Muskogee, OK in 1939
IDA EDDS was living in Rose Hill, VA in 1939

George W. EDDS married Harriet Petree BRATCHER in VA. Harriet b. 5-24-1862
was the daughter of Benjamin F. BRATCHER of Campbell or Clairborn Co. TN
