Jeanette

I am not searching any of your surnames, but from what I've found poking
around in Boone County, Ky. your CARPENTER and TANNER families could have
originated there. The TANNER family was one of the founding families of the
Hopeful Lutheren Church. William CARPENTER was the first pastor of the
Hopeful Church. Both the TANNER and CARPENTER families came from the Hebron
Lutheren Church in Virginia. There are TANNERS buried in the Hopeful Church
Cemetery and there is a CARPENTER Cemetery in Florence, Ky. on Circle Drive.
William Carpenter and his wife and children and grand-children (I presume)
are buried there. This may not be your family but the CARPENTER - TANNER
marriage caught my eye. Good Luck.
