Is your Jacob Riley the same family as Jacob Riley who married Sarah E. Yates in 1848? She died before 1850 and Jacob married her sister, Mary Margaret Yates. This Riley family lived in Kenton Co. and were related to the Rectors. I am tracing the Yates family and Sarah E. and Mary Margaret Yates were daughter of John Yates and Mary Spilman. I would be interested to know if there is any connection.
