I think this would be the orphanage operated by the "Sisters of Our
Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd" in Highland Heights, Campbell
County, KY. there were about 70 children under their care in 1881.
In 1885 they expanded their mission to include "problem girls" &
they also had a home/school on Highland Avenue in Ft. Thomas,
Campbell County, KY. I don't remember the one in Highland Heights,
but I visited the "Good Shepherd Home for Girls" in Ft. Thomas,
as we called it, when I was a teenager in the early 70's. I thought it
was a beautiful building, but it has since been torn down. There is
an article about the sisters & their schools in History of the Diocese
of Covington. I would be happy to get a copy of it to you if you
or any other list members are interested.

Please contact me off-list if you would like it.
