Subject: [KYKENTON] James P. WEBSTER

Hi!
I'm hoping someone here might be able to help.
My great-grandfather is James P. WEBSTER. He is listed in the 1880 US
census in Covington. He is listed in the 1890 Covington City Directory.
He died in Covington on May 4, 1909. (I have a couple of death notices
from the Kentucky Post on 5/5 and 5/6 1909.) I requested a copy of his
death certificate from Kenton County but they couldn't find one.
What I need to find out is the name of his parents. I believe I know who
they are, Larken WEBSTER and Lucinda DUMAS (this from entries on
ancestry.com and at familysearch.org), but I can't prove it and want to do
so.
Here is the data that I have on my James P. WEBSTER and his wife:
Name: James Pierre WEBSTER (note the French middle name -- with Lucinda
DUMAS, a French name, as a potential mother)
Birth: 1832 (backtracking from obituary listing of his age -- could be off)
Birthplace: Lexington, KY (known that his father and mother were born in
Virginia -- matches Larken WEBSTER and Lucinda DUMAS' VA birth (comes from
the 1880 census where he is listed as J.P. Webster in Covington, KY)
Death: 4 May 1909, Covington, KY
Wife's Name: Anna E. MOLONEY (very close, of course, to MALONEY and also
at least one of the ancestry.com entries said Mary (Ann) Maloney)
Birth: 15 November 1850 (again very close to the window given for her
birth)
Birthplace: Ireland (from several sources: 1880 US Census, her death
certificate, etc.)
Death: 15 January 1923, Covington, KY
My grandmother's name was Anna (her mother's name) Lucinda (her
grandmother's name from her father's side???) WEBSTER.
This is sooooooooo close. I am almost certain it connects. I am just
looking for the one piece of tangible evidence to know that it is a certain
match.
Can anyone help here?
Thanks!
Mike
