I checked the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Knox Co. Fed. Census. There are NO LOVE
families listed in those years. You may be looking in the wrong county.
I see William LOVE born shows as being born in Clay Co.

Here is one marriage. They apparently married in Knox Co., KY.
Knox Co. Marriage Bond Book F, page 56 dated December 29, 1892

I also checked the 1850 Clay and the 1860 Clay Co. and there were no LOVE
families. However, in the 1870 the family appears to be there. They are
listed as follows:

I don't have a marriage for Letcher LOVE nor do I see him on the later
census. He also is not in Knox Co. There are no LOVE families listed in
the 1900 Knox.

I checked the Harlan Co. since the one marriage mentions a birth in Harlan
Co. On the 1860, I see:

They are not on the 1870 Harlan Co. Fed. Census. I'm afraid that is about
