They sure do..
Each year in October we have an Asher and Hendrickson Reunion at Pine
Mountain State Park..
This year even though I live in Middlesboro, which is only 15 miles
away, I got a room at the Lodge and stayed the weekend..
It was great fun and not that costly.. I would recommend that anyone who
is connected to the ASHER family of Bell and Clay Co come on Friday and
Saturday to the ASHER part of the reunion.. ON Sunday afternoon we have
a Hendrickson Reunion. As a good number are connected to both lines it
just made since to have the Reunions on the same weekend..
Next year, 2000 we will be meeting on the first weekend of October. This
will be the first full weekend so if the First is on Saturday or Sunday
it will be the next weekend..
Please make plans to come and visit with your Cousins.. Reservations
should be made early for your stay...There is a block of rooms reserved
but they do go quickly...
