QUESTION ONE
I show his daughter Margaret married Isaac Pomp Mills. What happened to
their marriage? Is he the correct husband? I also show Isaac Mills married
Mary Broughton in 1884. I must have something wrong here. I show he and
Marageret had a daughter Laura in 1888.
Knox County marriage book BB and C records the April 7, 1870 marriage
between Isaac Mills and Margaret Taylor. By Elias Patterson, B.. At Isaac
Taylor's Wit Jasper Gambrell and Silas Taylor (Margaret's brother). Isaac
Being the child of Nasby Mills and Elizabeth Baker.
Isaac who m. Mary Broughton unsure as to which Isaac this is?????
although I have this marriage listed as well.

Marida Pattershon
What Patterson did Marida marry? Is Marinda and Marida the same?
Looking at notes that Joyce has sent she believes this to be Mandy Patterson

> Chiney Warren What Warren did China/Chiney marry?
China m. Willis Warren child of John G. Warren and Millie Gambrell. Now
John G. was the brother to James Henry Warren II who m. Mary Ann Taylor who
was Isaac's brother.

QUESTION FOUR
> Sarah Smith What Smith did Sarah marry?
Sarah m Newton Smith I have no clue as to his parentage Any help??????

QUESTION FIVE
Isaac Mills Jr. Who is this? Is this Margaret's husband Isaac Pomp Mills
Jr.? Or is it their son Isaac.
I believe this to be Isaac Pomp Mills Jr.

QUESTION SIX
"Blind Ike" Mills? Or is it some other? There were lots of Isaacs. And
why would he be listed as a child?
Blind Ike is the child of Margaret and Isaac he was said to be blind this was
included in the census records as well.

QUESTION SEVEN
George Mills Who is this? And why would he have a child's share?
Unsure who this is as well

QUESTION EIGHT
Susan Messer Who is this? Is this another married daughter? I had no
Susan listed as their child.
Susan Messer is spouse of Anthony Messer. Here is how they fit into the
picture. Margaret Taylor s/o Isaac Taylor m. Clark Mills.Now they had a
child Permelia Ann Mills who m. Richard Messer . Richards Brother Allen m.
Margaret Payne Allen and Margaret's child was Anthony Messer his spouse
was Susan. This Susan's maiden name is unknown to me and I would guess
she is somehow a Taylor making this a closer relation. However I will also
send the court hearing on this will as well.

QUESTION NINE
Jefferson Mills Who is this and why listed as a child?
Unsure again.

QUESTION TEN
Was Isaac and Permelia's daughters Letty and/or Amanda married to a Mills,
Messer or Jackson? Amanda was M. to James Patterson

QUESTION ELEVEN
Rosa Jackson Who is this?
Unsure as who this is although I do know that His wife's brother m. a Rhoda
Jackson. Unsure of which family she fits in though.

QUESTION TWELVE
I further maore bequeth to Melia Mills..., Chiney and Mallie Mills Who
are these girls? Are these the daughters of Felix Mills and Marinda Winnie
Louisia
Hubbard? If so, why would they be listed in Isaac Taylor's will? I see
that they are
Isaac Pomp's nieces. Perhaps he and Margaret raised them?
To the best of my knowledge yes these are Felix's children.

shall be the executors How are these people related and/or connected to Isaac
Taylor and his family?
J.W. Messer, Grasping at straws here but Clara Taylor m. Ambrose Messer and
they had a son Jefferson Messer also Susan Messer the wife of Anthony Messer
from above, well Anthony had a brother J. W. Messer also.
J.H.Warren = John Henry Warren brother in law husband of Mary Ann Taylor
J.W. Warren Upon closer look this may be J M Warren as it doesn't look the
Same as the J W Messer. There was a J M Warren who was the child of John
Henry Warren. This being James Madison Warren

Linda hope I cleared up some but I know it caused more questions as well If
only Joyce was here how many days until she returns?????!!!!!!

I will also send this on to Hargus as he is much more knowledgeable than I.

Where as in the actions of Sarah Smith and other plaintiffs against
Permelia Taylor and other defendants then pending in the Knox County Circuit
Court for the partician of real estate of Isaac Taylor Deceased an order was
entered at the September Term 1898 directing W.F. Westerfield, J. R. Hammons
and C.B. wilson as commissionours of said court to make dividson and
allotment of the said real estate between the parties to said action, and the
said real estate was divided in accordance with said order and said
commissiours having made their report of division at the October term 1898 of
the said court their said report was (unknown) by a further order of said
court approved and confirmed and on the 20th day of November 1898 trhe said
court appointed the undersigner W.F. Westfield a special commissiour to make
deeds of partition conveying to each party the lands and property allotted to
them in sovernity.
Now there fore this indeture made and entered into this 5th day of
December 1898 Between China Warren and her husband Willis Warren, Isaac
Mills, Margaret Mills and her husband Isaac Mills, Sarah Smith and her
husband Newton Smith, Susan Messer and her husband Anthony Messer, Jefferson
Mills, George Mills, Rosa Jackson, Awanda Patterson, and her husband James
Patterson, by W.F. Westerfield as special commissioner before said of the
first part and permelia Taylor of the second part. Two Hundred and 30 acres.
Examined and approved in open court December 26, 1898.
