Dear County Court Clerk:

I have a copy of John Simpson's Will of 1841 from Laurel County, Kentucky.
John Simpson was a resident in Ky from 1810 - 1841. I was told that land
records for proving his relationship to his first family in Greene Co., TN
could be found in KY Land Records. However, the lady from CT with the
information was last in contact in 1984 with the person who told me and her
address is not currently listed.

John Simpson died in Laurel Co., KY on 21 May 1841, however, he did live in
Barren Co., KY before moving to Clay Co., KY which became Laurel Co., KY.
WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE TO CHECK THE LAND RECORDS IN LAUREL
COUNTY, KENTUCKY FOR JOHN SIMPSON'S SELLING OR GIVING LAND IN GREENE
COUNTY, TN TO ANOTHER SIMPSON IN THE TIME PERIOD OF 1810 - 1831?
