Why would they not just call it a "quilting Bee"?
Wonder if they 1: got together to do personal mending, or 2: in some way
exchanged thimbles like we would have a white elephant exchange today?
Really enjoy all the Q's and
A's on this format. i am doing research on
Herman Gisiger and Elise Stauffer Gisiger
who came to Laurel Co. as a 4yr.old child.
