This following is from the Parker vertical file in the Kentucky Historical
Society Library.

State Library Lexington, Kentucky
Dear Librarian,
I have consulted a genealogist in my search for the line of Pleasant
Parker and his brother Alexander Parker. I've learned that these men were
hung by KKK in London, KY, 1870. (Jill's note-Alex escaped)
A descendent here says that Pleasant Parker is her ancestor. There are
records in London, KY of three generations of Pleasant Parkers, the last
married in 1912 a Martha ___. It could be that he is living and it is said
that there is a P L Parker in eastern Laurel County.
Is there a state register which would locate him? I want to write to ask
about the family. I'll appreciate your reply.
