I have a copy of a receipt, which I obtained from another researcher several
years ago. I have no documentation as to where and when it was first
obtained by that person.

1870 Laurel County Court
May 14th To J. H. Carrier & W. R. Watts
for furnishing lumber and making four
coffins and boxes for Shelton and Parkers
that was taken out of jail ("jail" is crossed out)
the Laurel County Jail and hanged by mob $5 each $30.00
