Kenneth Eldon Benge
Job setter

Kenneth Eldon Benge, 69, of Shoryer Drive, Tip City, Ohio, died Wednesday,
August 23, 2000, at the Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

Born January 21, 1931, in Laurel County, Kentucky, he was a job setter
for General Motors, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and a member of the Harmony
Baptist Church in Tip City, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Benge and Pearl (Bundy) Benge.

Survivors include his wife, Ida (Minton) Benge of Tip City, Ohio; a daughter,
Cheryl Burns of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Nell Sibole of London, Ky.; two
brothers, Herschel Benge of Crown Point, Ind., and Merrill Benge of Corbin,
Ky.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, August 27, at House-Rawlings
Funeral Home. Burial followed at Ruben Bruner Cemetery in Marydell, Ky.
