I sent a message earlier about possible locations of children who were taken from McCreary Co. and placed for adoption. The two which appear in the records of the McCreary Court prior to 1925 are the Kentucky Children's Society Home in Louisville and the Apostalic Faith Home in Nashville. Today I ran across a third. In 1925, for the first time there are orders sending children to the Kentucky Children's Society Home in Lyndon, Jefferson Co., KY. This may give some clues where none existed before. Hope it helps.
