Surname: Perry, Perkins, Neely

I've been looking for a Sarah Neely who was my great grandmother. She was
1/2 Cherokee. I found in the McQuery Co. census that there was a Sarah
living at the home of a Mr. Perry, and listed as his niece. Sarah's three
sons were listed. This is the Sarah I'm looking for. Her last name was
not listed but her children were listed as surname "Purkins". I do know
these are her sons. She also had a daughter, Elizabeth or Lizzy who married
a Clay Snow at Indian Creek Kentucky (my grandmother). However, she spelled
the name "Perkins". Sarah Neely's children belonged to Frank Perkins, but
they were never legally married. I believe Frank Perkins was married before
and had other children. Her mother was supposedly Linda Neely, full blooded
Cherokee. Sarah Neely also had a daughter by the name of Eva Thompson,
so can't quite figure this one out. Can't find anything on Linda Neely.
Any help would be appreciated. Email me if you have other information please.
