Hi Faye,
I saw your post and was reminded that you are in Pine Knot. I don't know if you knew the Stephens-Whalen kids. They were
raised in Whitley and went to McCreary Co. Schools in the 1950's. We all moved away from Whitley as soon as we were old
enough. My dad, Gart Worley, was an uncle to the Whalen and Stephens kids. We were first cousins. Ray Whalen was the middle
kid. He married Ann Rogers and they have lived in Monterey Tenn ever sinice they first got married about twenty-five years
ago. He had some blood clot problems a few months ago and the doc put him on blood thinners. He died this afternoon from an
aneurism in Monterey Tenn. Hospital. He was fifty-seven. We're all in shock--such a young man. Just thought maybe you might
