Wilhite, Mollie-Was born October 20, 1879, deceased June 4, 1964 at the age
of 84 years, 7 months and 14 days. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ester
Duncan of Oneida, Tennessee; 3 brothers, Robert Babb, Jim Babb and A.J. Babb
of Oneida, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and a host
of other relatives and friends. She professed a hope in Christ and joined
the Pine Hill Baptist Church at an early age. Later she transferred her
membership to the Salem Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member
until death. We feel that our loss is heaven's gain. Salem Baptist Church.

Owens, Gatchel-48, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 6, 1962 in the
Scott County Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Scott County and a
member of the Salem Baptist Church since 1947. Survivors are wife, Florence
Bridges Owens; 6 sons, Bobby Allen, Ralph Harold, and Jackie Ray of Detroit,
Michigan, Gatchel, Jr., David Earl and Paul Gene of Oneida; 3 daughters,
Mrs. Kay Botts of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Jo Dean Strunk of Indianapolis,
Indiana and Teresa Ann of Oneida; 2 brothers, Enmon and Dilmon Owens of
Smokey Junction, Tennessee; 5 sisters, Mrs. Etta Duncan, Mrs. Mae Phillips,
Mrs. Elsie Laxton, Mrs. Nellie Strunk of Oneida and Mrs. Girley Chambers of
Warren, Michigan; 16 grandchildren. Sadly missed by all who knew him.
Salem Baptist Church.

Hammock, Mary Ellen-The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Chambers, was born
in Oneida, Tennessee October 31, 1943, deceased this life March 1, 1964 at
the age of 20 years and 4 months. She was married to Daniel Hammock January
16, 1961 and 2 children were born to this union. She is survived by 1 son,
Junior; 1 daughter, Judy; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Chambers; 3 sisters,
Mabel Ann, Barbara Lou and Betty Jo Chambers; 3 brothers, Earnest, James and
Roy Chambers all of Oneida. She professed faith in Christ July 13, 1958 and
united with the Tunnel Hill Baptist Church where she remained a member until
the time of her death. We join the family in their bereavement. Blessed
are the dead which die in the Lord. Tunnel Hill Baptist Church.

Honeycutt, James Michael-Born April 26, 1875, deceased this life September
19, 1964 at the age of 89 years, 4 months and 24 days. He was married to
Ida Bell Risdon about the year of 1895 and to this union was born nine
children. His wife and 1 son preceded him in death. He professed a hope in
Christ and in May 19, 1950, he came to Tunnel Hill Baptist Church by letter,
where he remained a member until death. He leaves to mourn his passing 4
sons, George of Robbins, Tennessee, Elvin of Norma, Tennessee, Jonah of
Oneida and John of Covington, Kentucky; 4 daughters, Jane Cross of Elk
Valley, Mary Ann Yaden of Michigan, Flora Thomas of Covington, Kentucky,
Daisy York of Helenwood, Tennessee and a number of grandchildren, great
grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and
friends. We feel our loss is his eternal gain in Glory. Tunnel Hill
Baptist Church.

Marcum, Claiborne S.-Was born April 10, 1881 and passed away December 27,
1963. He was a member of the St. Fork Union Church, joining the Church in
September 1933. He leaves a wife, Mary Roberts Marcum, 3 sons, H.B. Marcum
of California, Leo and Percy of Georgia; 1 daughter, Mr. D.T. Gibson of
Pioneer; 11 grandchildren and a host of friends. We feel our loss is his
eternal gain in heaven. May we all meet where separation comes no more.
