Subject: [McC] CIVIL WAR PICTURES FOUND

Hello All...
I would like to ask your help in identifying some old pictures that came
from an old farm in the New Liberty community in present McCreary County
(formerly Whitley Co.). They could have come from Pulaski or Wayne Co. also
of course.
There is a picture of 2 Civil War soldiers, one of a lady, and one of a
young lady or girl. I bought these soley to prevent their going to a
tourist display in a bed and breakfast in Alabama. I did not want them lost
to our own history. These people no doubt are the direct ancestors of some
of us and share a history with all of us from the CRR area.
Please take a look at them and let me know if you have seen other pictures
of these people or can help me in any way to identify them. If they are
definitely your ancestors I will arrange to have nice copies made for you
or can possibly even arrange for you to have these. My plan at the moment
is to donate them to the McCreary County Historical Society or the McCreary
County History Museum, especially if I can't learn their personal identities.

Thank you for your help.
