Hello:

I have started a Perkins Y chromosome DNA Study site at

This is a project to test the Y DNA of Perkins named males to see if
there are any connections between the various Perkins immigrant lines
in North America and the rest of the world.

We currently have results from a descendant of Peter Perkins of
Campbell Co., TN and are waitng for results of descendants of Edward
Perkins of CT (Timothy Perkins and Jabez Perkins of NC); John
Perkins of Mass.; Richard and Nicholas Perkins of VA; and Wm. E.
Perkins of Montana. To be valid, we need tests from two or more
persons in each immigrant line.
