Creekmore Family Reunion

I would like to invite all Creekmore Cousins - friends and loved ones to the
2002 Creekmore reunion in Williamsburg, KY. This will be our 26th annual
reunion.

The reunion will be held Sunday, August 11, 2002 at the Williamsburg, KY
Tourism and Conference Center - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Exit 11 off I 75 across
from the Cumberland Inn.

We will have a carry-in luncheon.

This would be a great time to meet cousins you have written to, but not yet
met in person. Besides being a beautiful mountain area to visit, it is a
great place to take the family for vacation. The area has a lot of things
to do and see - Cumberland Falls, Blue Heron Coal Mining Town, the Water
Park, Stearns Museum, Daniel Boone National Forest - just to name a few. Of
course if you are like me, I love to visit the cemeteries in the area and
get pictures of tombstones. I love to travel the back roads and find places
like the "Cave School House" where Pearl Creekmore Anderson said her
grandmother attended school. I like to get pictures of the old churches of
the area. The Upper Jellico Creek Church is a really neat one to visit. It
still has the old pot belly stove sitting in the middle of the church.
