Hello Everyone;
Just letting you know that I have completed transcribing and publishing the
1930 McCreary County census in book form. It has been a long hard process
but it is at last ready to ship to anyone who would like a copy.
To learn more about it (and see pictures of it) go to;
<http://www.pastseeker.com/mccreary/misc/censusbk.shtml>
I am pleased with the way it turned out - I hope you will be also. This is
a really nice one to own because there is so much information in it and
just because it is 1930. Many of us will find parents and/or grandparents
listed and this not only gives us a base for genealogy but also will bring
back lots of fond memories of loved ones. You can really get a grasp of
what things were like for your own family through this census, by
discovering your family's friends and neighbors, etc. There are many people
from other places in this census also - lots of Tenneessee folks - because
in 1930 people had come from all over to work for Stearns Coal and Lumber
Company. Because there is so much information in this census, I decided it
should be printed in book form.
If you have any questions that I forgot to answer on the web page, just
email me.
Thanks so much and have a good evening.
Margy
