My grandparents ran a grocery store in the hilltop area, they were Luther and Hattie Jones, yamacraw river was just below the store area, this would be Mccreary Co.

Was the river the dividing line between Wayne and Whitley Counties before
1912 when McCreary County was made?
I'm not sure either, but I thought all that area, Yamacraw and Hill Top were
Wayne County.
