MUNCIE - Amy Jean Chambers, 66, our loving mother went to be with the lord on
Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born in 1937 in Bellfarm, Ky., to Elmer and Angie Crabtree. She moved
to Muncie in 1956 and was a member of Memorial United Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dorsey L. Chambers.
Mrs. Chambers leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Frank Chambers (wife:
Brenda), Muncie, and Phil Chambers (wife: Tammy), Muncie; two daughters, Linda
Chambers Garrett (husband: Kevin) and Sherry Tyring (husband: Joe), Parker
City; three brothers, Bob Crabtree, Muncie, Junior Crabtree (wife: Debbie),
Muncie, and Lee Crabtree, Muncie; a sister, Bonnie Kitchen, Muncie; six
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a mother-in-law, Roxie Chambers.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Garden View
Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be conducted at Gardens of Memory Cemetery
