MUNCIE - Ralph Hill, 77, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at his residence after
a brief illness.
He was born in Bellfarm, KY on October 28, 1927, the son of Charles and
Minnie Gregory Hill.
Ralph had worked for Warner Gear and Owens Illinois Glass Factory.
Mr. Hill was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed watching baseball.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gwenda Lee Tucker Hill, Muncie; four
sons, Ralph Hill Jr., (Gloria), Brownville, TX; Dan Hill, (Debbie), Yorktown;
Randy Hill, Petersburgh, IL, and Michael Hill, (Terri), Lapel; five daughters,
Patricia Woodring, (Denny), Evansville; Kenna Mililli, (J.P.), Wheaton, IL;
Kathy Nixon, (Dennis), Muncie; Sue Hill, Westfield, and Jeannie Benavides,
(Fernado), Mission, TX; fifteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren; two
brothers, Jeff Hill, Muncie, and Earl Hill, Matthews; five sisters, Grace
Crabtree, KY; Violet Crabtree, KY; Stella Tucker, Denver; Annabel Howell, Muncie,
and Velma Swearingen, KS.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Conley and Otis Hill.
Services will be held Wednesday, 11:30 a.m., May 25, 2005 in the Chapel of
The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory with Blaine Tucker officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie.
Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Meeks
Mortuary and Crematory or 1 hour prior to service on Wednesday.
