Hello,
I am researching a family tree for my elderly Aunt and could use a little
help.
Her Father was Calvin Lay b. 1890 McCreary County, Kentucky he married
Rebecca Murphy. Calvin's parents were William Lay b. ca 1859 and Sophia
Lovett b. ca 1873.It seems that the family lived in both McCreary and
Whitley counties but I am unable to locate them in any census records other
than the 1930 McCreary. William Lay was born in Tennessee but I don't know
where.
Any help would be appreciated and my Aunt would be forever thankful.
