Mrs. Eva Mae Orwin, 81, Bash Avenue, Somerset, KY died Tuesday at her home. She was born on October 18, 1923 in Somerset, KY. She is the daughter of the late James and Lilly Stephens Smith. Her funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday July 9, at the First Christian Church. Officiating was the Rev. Joe Altman. Burial took place in the Somerset Cemetery. Visitation was held July 8, at the Chapel of Somerset Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Mrs. Orwin was a retired kindergarten teacher for First Christian Church for 38 years. She is survived by her son Donald Bruce Orwin,(Robin), of Somerset, KY, four daughters, Joel Andrea (Roy) Garner and Phyliss Ann (Lonnie) Lawson, all of Somerset KY. Lee Pamela (Jarl) Mohn, Brentwood, CA, and Susan Jill (Richard) Hamilton of Georgetown, KY. Eight grandchildren, Andrea Taylor, Stephen Rowan, Johnathan Thomas, Lindsey Grace Lawson, Erika Lee Lawson, William, Atticus Orwin, Katrina Orwin Mohn and Larkin Lee Mohn. She is precede!
d in death by her husband Donald F. Orwin and a son Stephen Paul Orwin, five brothers, Arthur, Ottis, Ray, James, Alvie Smith, and one sister, Grace Ragen. Condolences may be sent to the family at (www.lakecumberlandfuneralhome.com). Compliments of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
