Twice removed has something to do with the children. For a 3rd cousin twice removed, I just say it's a 5th cousin. Or at least the older folks used to put it that way. My grandparents had never heard of the "removed theory. "

Gorman, and his son James were the best auto body repair specialists in Morgan County, TN during their time. They ran their shop out of a converted chicken coop.
